The bad news is that homebrew developer CoderX is leaving. All the details you need are in the full article.

Penguin Bobsled - Halloween Edition - Image 1As we reach the end of October, it's nice to see Sony PSP homebrew developer CoderX release Penguin Bobsled - Halloween Edition. The last version of the Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew game surfaced a few days ago to add CFW 3.71 M33 support, while this Halloween Edition simply replaces the theme to fit the occasion.

Like the previous game, according to CoderX, "the goal is to get your Penguin as far down the hill as you can before the Mudslide catches up with him." Aside from Halloween music and graphics, falling pumpkins and bats will there to pick on the poor penguin. CoderX seems pretty confident that those who liked Penguin Bobsled will like the update, so if you're one of those people, don't be shy to download the game.

CoderX noted that Budddy4point0, the developer behind another snowboarding game called PssxP, is a friend who shared the same ideas. The two were supposed to work on the same project under Team Matrix, but Budddy4point0 apparently went solo, so Penguin Bobsled and PssxP came as separate homebrew games.

With all that said and done, just download Penguin Bobsled - Halloween Edition below, place it in the ISO folder, then enjoy!

Penguin Bobsled - Image 1Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer CoderX dropped by the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce that the homebrew game Penguin Bobsled has been updated, and this time it's compatible with Custom Firmware 3.71 M33.

Penguin Bobsled is a cute little Sony PSP homebrew game which stars, obviously, a penguin racing down a slope to avoid a rampaging avalanche. Your job is to guide him to safety before the avalanche turns the poor critter into a popsicle.

"This game is about the most fun you will ever have on ice," posts CoderX. "It features cool music, and great graphics.... And took over 14 hours to code."

You can show your appreciation for CoderX's work by downloading Penguin Bobsled using the link below. You can also tell the homebrew dev what you think about the game by posting your comments or joining in the QJ.NET Forum discussions.
