By Crom! The Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures' official website's recent update focuses on an item players should never be without: The Drinking Cape. This item grants players free drinks for life in any tavern entered.

This item is an absolute necessity if you want to join the Drunken Brawling PvP mini-game. Since you don't have to shell out money for the drinks, your character can brawl until the wee hours of the morning. Graphically speaking, the cape itself looks really cool with leopard skin lining and a distinct insignia, making it a must for fashion aficionados everywhere.

If you want to get one of these babies, you'll have to sign-up and join the Clan of Conan before the official launch of Funcom's Age of Conan on March. No word yet if this item will be available on both the Xbox 360 and the PC though, so be advised.

Members of the official Age of Conan fanclub, Clan of Conan, are going to have a nice surprise when they check their inboxes today because the second issue of the club's newsletter has just been sent out today.

The monthly exclusive newsletter gives members of the official Age of Conan fanclub an exclusive glimpse at tons of information about the game, the gameworld and at what goes on behind the scenes during the development process.

This month, the spotlight is on the location called Conall's Valley, an area where players will be able to engage in a conflict between the savage Vanir and the proud Cimmerians.

Yes! You will have a rare encounter with King Conan himself!
