Midway is now owned by Warner Bros. -- by default. The LA Times report
that the media conglomerate has won the bidding rights to Midway for
US$ 33 million. So how come they won it by default? According to
reports, the big WB was the only one who had a "serious offer". |

The Chimera had better pucker up for more punishment because by tomorrow, trigger-happy players of Resistance 2 will have more reasons to bring the fight back to the nasty extraterrestrials. Tomorrow, March 26th, is the day that the new Resistance 2 DLC will be available, along with the 1.50 patch that'll make the online alien-hunting experience much more enjoyable. |

It seems that Midway's financial woes has again ended in layoffs. The
publisher has just confirmed that some members of its Chicago
headquarters have been let go following the shipment of Midway's
frontline titles, Blitz: The League 2 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3). |
