The numbers are in from the UK and it looks like gamers are still too busy with Call of Duty: World at War to bother with Resistance 2, which entered the charts at 10th place. That's way lower than expected for the highly anticipated (or not) game.Full top 10 games in the UK after the link. |

New numbers from Chart Track show that the current installed base for console and handheld gamers in the UK have doubled since last year. That's good news for devs who want to sell more games, which is good news for gamers who want to see them make more games. So which console has the largest installed base? Three guesses. Well, three's all you get since there are only that many consoles. Anyway, make a guess and go to the full article for the answer. |

So is it... brains or beauty? In the UK, Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training has finally set a new record. Previously held by Lara Croft for Tomb Raider, Dr. Kawashima now holds the crown for being the longest-staying video game on the All Formats Top 10 charts. Guess it really pays to have Nicole Kidman promote your game, eh? |

The UK once again shows its love for anything Mario: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (which was only released on the region by the tail end of last month) is still smashing on top of the charts, and former hotshots Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV are nowhere to be found on top 10. Don't mess with Mario. What else is on top of the UK charts? Check it out in the full article. |
