Fate/Tiger Colosseum - Image 1

It's been a while since we last heard from the crazy, yet cute-looking beat-em-up from Cavia and Capcom, Fate/Tiger Colosseum for the PlayStation Portable. But just like its titular character, Taiga, it's back in our faces in a big way as its official Japanese website has recently opened for business. Now, before she gets dangerous with that bamboo sword of hers, let's take a look-see at the site and see what's new about the game with the TYPE-MOON license.

Sporting cute artwork and a very clean layout, the official web presence of Fate/Tiger Colosseum is pretty impressive, as it's dishing out a LOT of material on its first appearance. Not only does it have the usual deal, like character profiles, artwork and screenshots, but it also has voice samples of the characters, trailers and story-related cutscenes that you'll be able to view. It's a very cute touch, and it certainly lends to the Japanese quirkiness of the game itself.

Cute visuals, a colorful cast of legendary characters, Saber in a lion costume? We're sold! You can check out the actual website and the tons of content it holds by clicking on the read link below.

There's still no word if Capcom and Cavia have plans to release the video game Fate/Tiger Colosseum outside Japan. To give you guys more of an idea on what this title looks like, here's a new trailer video.

The game is actually a 3D fighting game based on the anime-manga Fate/Stay Night by Type moon. Of course, you will be able to control in this game characters from the said manga including the likes of Shiro, Saber, Rin, Archer, Ilya, Berserker, Shinji, and Ride.

The single player mode of the game will also feel very familiar as it was supervised by the writer of the series' original scenario. Multiplayer mode will also be available in Fate/Tiger Colosseum and it should make the relatively simple battle system all the more exciting.

Fate/Tiger Colosseum - Image 1

Fast and furious superdeformed brawling action coming your way with the first ever trailer of Cavia's Fate/Tiger Colosseum for the PSP. We get you the lowdown on the cutest beat-em-up to date.

The video starts off with a very catchy and very upbeat song that's typical of the cute stuff we get from Japan - and then it kicks it up with a notch with a gameplay montage that lets us see how the Servants and their Masters duke it out. The graphics, while simple and minimalistic, has that clean look to it that's very easy on the eyes, and everything runs on a decent clip even when there's a lot of action going on.

The colors are bright and lively, and from the looks of things the environments from the game it's based upon is pretty much going to be replicated in this PSP brawler as levels for you to brawl in. The sound is also crisp, and going by the voice samples, it's probably not too far-fetched to assume that there's going to be voice acting in this one. We certainly hope so.

That's enough spoilers from us, though. Watch the trailer by clicking on the read link below, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

Fate/Tiger Colosseum logo - Image 1

Today we got a few pieces of character art and screenshots of Fate/Tiger Colosseum, the upcoming PSP fighter based on the PC title Fate/Stay Night. Yeah, some of these were included in the mag scans we posted before, but these are better quality. This 3D fighting game features characters from Fate/Stay Night which, while the title sounds a bit weird, has some pretty good character designs. Anyway, check 'em out below.

Fate/Tiger Colosseum from Cavia and Capcom will support multiplayer action as well as the standard single-player story mode that was supervised by the writer of the series' original scenario. It features cel-shaded chibi-style anime graphics Oh, and here's a factoid for those of you unfamiliar with the game: the original Fate/Stay Night was an "eroge". If you don't know what that means, check Wikipedia. Fat chance that this new title will feature some of the stuff in the first game, though.

More screenshots and character art after the jump!

Fate/Tiger Colosseum - Image 1 Fate/Tiger Colosseum - Image 2

For those who are familiar with the anime-manga Fate/Stay Night by Type-Moon, this is good news. Fate/Tiger Colosseum, as everyone read from the last report, is a fighting game from Japan-based game developer">Cavia and Capcom.

Who's your favorite duo? Would it be Shiro and Saber, Rin and Archer, Ilya and Berserker or Shinji and Rider? Fate/Tiger Colosseum is a 3D fighting game where players would be able to select their favorite characters from the Fate/Stay Night series. Checking the scans, the characters were zapped with the chibi ray. Cute, but will it live up to its popularity?

Players can choose to play multiplayer vs brawler or go into story mode in Fate/Tiger Colosseum. Whether this will come to shores outside Japan is still unsure. So PSP owners, stay tuned for more info regarding this fighter as it is reportedly coming out later this year.

Fate/Stay Night - Image 1The website insert credit reports that Capcom has announced yet another manga-adaptation for the PSP. According to the write-up, the new action fighting game is called Fate/Tiger Colosseum, and is currently on Cavia's working table.

Fate/Tiger Colosseum is actually based on the best-selling manga Fate/Stay Night of Type-Moon. There are no details yet as to the actual content of the game, but just so you won't be leaving here empty-handed, we'll give you a quick rundown of what the origin, Fate/Stay Night, is all about. Maybe from there, we can have an inkling of what to expect from the up and coming Fate/Tiger Colosseum.

Fate/Stay Night was released on January 2004 and instantly became one of the most popular visual novels in history. It got so popular, in fact, that it earned the moniker of "highest selling visual novel" of 2004. Later on, it became a PS2 title. The story basically revolves around a two-week period in a young mechanic's life, Shiro Emiya. The background of Shiro is interesting by itself. A decade ago, his parents died in a fire, which also destroyed a big part of the city.

Shiro was lucky, as he was saved from sure death by Kiritsugu Emiya, a man described as enigmatic.  Kiritsugu turns out to be a sorcerer. The foster father also then reveals that his ambition in life is to become a "Hero of Justice", but here, he unfortunately fails. So, Shiro then takes it upon himself by promising that he will devote his life becoming what his foster father failed to become.

There you go. That's pretty much the synopsis of Fate/Tiger Colosseum's origin, Fate/Stay Night. Again, we don't know how much of Fate/Stay Night's elements will be incorporated in Fate/Tiger, but rest assured that we will be on it as soon as we catch wind of some more news on this.

Bullet Witch Alicia - Image 1The moment we saw Bullet Witch Alicia, we immediately fell in love with her. Some have commented that she is a rather weak witch, with just a handful of magic spells, but she really is beautiful.

With that said, we are happy to announce that the game has finally shipped to retailers across North America.

We know we've already discussed the different features of the Bullet Witch before, but we'll outline a few details for the benefit of newcomers. The game takes place in the year 2013. Humankind is on the brink of extinction, and demons are creating havoc everywhere. The last hope rests with Alicia and her magical skills, not to mention her swift trigger finger.

It's understandable that Atari Product Manager Jeremiah Cohn is quite excited:

Cavia has designed a game that offers all the successful elements of a next-gen title including sophisticated weaponry, destructible environments, downloadable bonus content coupled with a captivating storyline that bring gamers an extremely intense and exciting game.

Bullet Witch is rated M and can be purchased for a suggested retail price of US$ 49.99. Details about a post-launch downloadable content at the Marketplace should be expected shortly.

Bullet Witch, aka, Alicia's Game - Image 1

If you're one of the people who have been smitten with the charms of Bullet Witch's heroine, Alicia, take heart as she's set to grace your Xbox 360 soon. Fans won't be disappointed as Atari has just announced that the title has gone gold, and it's bound to be released on February 27. And everything is going as scheduled.

Developed by Japan-based game developer">Cavia Inc., this action game is set in the year 2013 when the world has just suffered major natural disasters, and to top it all off is an invading force of demons. In comes Alicia, gun-ablazing (yes, "gun", as in singular) and her quest to rid the world of the forces of evil.

Though some may complain that the game is old (it HAS been out in Japan since July 2006), you gotta admit that it's hard to resist a pretty girl with a weapon that transforms into various types of firearms.
