Think you're the baddest kid on the block? Well, you're not, not unless you were able to steal a source code, a psp and a car all in one day. And oh, add poop to the list of stolen items. But thanks to homebrew developer littlevish's great time-waster for the PSP, Pocket Gambler. More details in the full article!Download: Pocket Gambler Visit: QJ PSP Development Forums |

Jayenkai, a homebrew developer, has just released JNKSlots for the Nintendo DS - a homebrew game and an arcade rehash of casino gambling slots. Sporting arcade-ish graphics of retro look and feel, JNKSlots offers six different slot machines further diversified by an assortment of arcade rules. It comes at a very small download and offers multitudes of spinning fun.If you can't afford the trip to your local casino (faced with that dilemma, forget Vegas) but have the need to see those slots align, then JNKSlots could be your ticket to that type of heaven. After patching the file with DLDI, execute it and select a game via double-click. Insert a virtual coin (unlimited) to activate the arcade slot machine chosen, and spin to your heart's delight or until your three lives have expired. You can always re-insert another coin to get back to spinning. Perform well on the first game to unlock the five other slot machines, especially the final, cutesy level. The Via link below navigates you to the Jayenkai's release thread. |

As we enter October, Halo 3's groundbreaking launch finally passed, and it's time for other big titles to shine. Will you be able to stay on your couch playing Slayer matches when The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is on shelves? Fine, so you can play that during breaks. How about Project Gotham Racing 4 or Enemy Territorry: Quake Wars? Can you resist high-speed racing or topnotch FPS action that don't involve Spartans? If those games don't ring a bell, this week's got other goodies to float your boat. The famous bandicoot is back in Crash of the Titans for a spin on various platforms, while EA Sports' NBA Live '08 go at it against 2K Sports' NBA 2K8 as both vye for hard court domination. Our favorite superhero Spider-man is also making an appearance on all platforms in Spider-man: Friend or Foe. PC gamers, on the other hand, are getting much love from budget titles to full blown role-playing games.Project Gotham Racing 4. Two years have passed after the previous installment in the PGR series, and Project Gotham Racing 4 is finally coming with major improvements that Bizarre Creations worked hard for. Apart from a revamped career mode, revised Kudos system, new tracks and iconic vehicles, this entry introduces the dynamic weather system.

The wait is finally over for those still waiting for news on the new PlayStation 3 bundle. MCV reports that Heavenly Sword is indeed included in the pack - with two other popular titles, Resistance: Fall of Man and MotorStorm. The new bundle includes the 60GB PS3, a couple of SIXAXIS controllers, and three titles mentioned above. According to the reports, this three bestselling-title bundle is available exclusively from HMV and retails at 424.99 GBP (or roughly US$ 855). Browsing through HMV's official site, we found that there are more PS3 bundles - with an assortment of add-ons. Buyers can choose between getting Blu-ray movies Casino Royale and Black Hawk Down and an extra choice of getting Formula 1 Championship Edition. Plenty of choices, eh? Well, check out HMV's PS3 bundles if you're setting yourself up for an early holiday present. |

When we heard of CSI: Hard Evidence (Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PS2, DS) being under Ubisoft's banner, we knew the license was in good hands. Break down evidence, recreate crime scenes, squeeze answers out of suspects; doing whatever it takes to unmask the criminal just like in the popular TV series sounds fun. Take a glimpse at what awaits by watching the video we've found.
Gritty atmosphere? Check. Cinematic presentation? Positive. Mysterious villains and equally mysterious victims? They're all there. Pack that in a video game, slap good graphics, then you've got a crime going on. In this video, you'll see gameplay footage from what seems to be a murder attempt in the casino. It's hard to miss all the elements that we've mentioned. Be careful not to flinch, this one's dangerous: |
