Ferrari Challenge Stradale - Image 1Parking its red, shiny trunk into the Xbox Live Marketplace is a new pack of cars for Test Drive Unlimited. Gearing in at 350 Microsoft Points, Volume 4 is now available for Atari's racing title and the downloadable content holds a total of six new cars. Get your keys, it's time for a run-down:
As always, once the download is done, the cars will be available for purchase at their respective in-game dealerships. For those looking for a bonus, the Saturn Curve is also free for download. This latest addition has now brought the Test Drive Unlimited car library to have over 30 "expansion cars" on top of those available in the game itself.

Sony's Escalade for MLB 07 - Image 1While the PlayStation 3 (PS3) version of Sony Computer Entertainment of America's (SCEA) MLB 07 The Show isn't going to be around for another month or so, expect SCEA to let everybody know that it's coming. To this end, Sony has announced that two Cadillac Escalades carrying playable samples of MLB 07 for the PS3, PSP, and PlayStation 2 (PS2) consoles will be making their rounds at choice selections in North America.

The two SUVs will allow passers-by a teaser of the video game's recently released PSP and PS2 versions, as well as provide them with hints of what to expect when the PS3 port arrives. Expect these two SUVs to travel to MLB Spring Training games, and the areas of Arizona and Florida when Spring Break kicks in.

MLB 07 The Show is expected to release this May 15 for the PS3, with its PSP and PS2 versions previously released last February.

Forza 2 box art - Image 1At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2007, Microsoft has revealed a list of 55 new models of American-production cars available at Forza Motorsport 2. Included in these new models are new interpretations of muscle cars, old classics and sporty motors.

Microsoft also released word on an improved version of the Livery Editor. This new feature gives the Forza community the freedom to truly build their dream vehicle using any of the 300+ cars in the game. Microsoft says that with the new and improved livery editor, gamers can now put their own personal touch on every vehicle in their garage using unique paint schemes, personalized decals and logos, as well as their own art creations. Ain't that sweet?

With the new livery editor, players can also put up their own designs for sale. Real money won't be earned though, but rather, in-game credits to be used to buy nicer cars and livery. The game releases in May.

Here's some of the new cars included in the list. To check out all, click on the Via link below.

We're still a bit bummed over ZootFly's aborted Ghostbusters game and we're still a bit sad that most of the videos of the Ghostbusters game got pulled of YouTube at the request of Sony Pictures Entertainment. So while we're waiting for the powers that be to resolve all the IPR issues surrounding Ghostbusters, we decided to look for all the latest gadgetry related to the beloved franchise.

A quick look through the dealer listings over at Hemmings Motor News reveals this beauty:

The Car - Image 1

Ecto 1 - Image 1 Ecto 1 - Image 2 Ecto 1 - Image 3 Ecto 1 - Image 4

Yes, it's the Ecto 1 and its selling for only US$ 149,998, and if the dealer listing is to be trusted, this '59 Cadillac actually has Hollywood history prior to becoming Ecto 1. If the the Ghostbusters game does manage to see the light of day, then perhaps Sony should use this car to promote the game. Sadly, if you choose to buy the car, proton packs aren't included.

What can we say? We're kids of the '80s - we like our toys, no matter how big they get.

Optimus Prime is ready. If the Autobots waged a battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons, and they actually won, would we be pleased? Of course not! Then we wouldn't be able to get them to do mo-cap for new Transformers games. Specifically, Transformers for the Wii, DS, and Xbox 360

The most recent issue of Nintendo Power seems to confirm this, with three Nintendo games coming out based on the movie:

Based on the upcoming Michael Bay flick, Transformers will let you play as either the heroic Autobots or evil Decepticons. Each 'bot will come equipped with unique weapons, moves, and transformations. Activision is planning a Wii version and two DS versions of the game.

There's also mention of confirmation for an XBox 360 game, though you can probably guess why Nintendo Power didn't make any mention of that.

As for the Nintendo ones, we don't know why there'll be two DS games, but if they could make one a turn-based strategy game like the Super Robot Wars series of games, there would be no doubt we'd be grabbing one. Now for a more important question: Will they make in-game Bumblebee a good old VW or that Cadillac travesty of Transformers fandom?

Well, it looks like the unknown release date that we reported earlier today for the Cadillac V-Series is TODAY. The new download for Project Gotham Racing 3 still features the three V-series Cadillacs that we have mentioned: the CTS-V, the STS-V and the XLR-V. The Cadillac collection seems to be a gateway to a contest as well - if you place in the top 100 for the Nurburgring F1 Circuit, you will receive an exclusive gamerpic. If you don't think you'll be able to hit the top 100 and still want some sort of gamerpic to show off how much you like Project Gotham Racing 3 before you see what games have new downloads, click on the PGR3 Global Tournament Gamerpic banner so you won't go home empty-handed. If you're still playing PGR3 or just want an excuse to go back to it, go ahead and give the Cadillac pack a download - it's available for no charge at all.

CadillacCadillac's latest advertisement deal with Xbox Live doesn't involve the traditional spamming of pop-up ads and the sort, but instead they decided to get their message across by offering downloadable content for Project Gotham Racing 3. The free Cadillac V-Series pack will include three cars that will soon be at your disposal; CTS-V, the STS-V and the XLR-V. In addition, Cadillac also announced that the gamer with the best time on Nürburgring will receive the Cadillac Elite bragging right and may be in the running to win other prizes. The release date for the V-series pack is still unknown, but a Microsoft general manager for new Xbox media stated that we can expect to see 10 to 20 more deals just like this by the end of the year.
