PSP Homebrew Developer Dark_Moon - author of PSP Protection Password - has released a beta for his new app, PSPcw, a program that allows you to write a document on your handheld and save the file on your memory stick. The program will be oriented for writing C/C++.
As of now the program is still in its beta stage. According to Dark_Moon, the program can still only write simple documents and does not have the sufficient characters to write C/C++. Here are the instructions for the program:
If you have any questions or if you wish to discuss the program, follow the link to our forums below. If you find bugs in the program, Dark_Moon also requests that they be reported in the forum thread. Download: PSPcw Public Beta Visit: QJ.NET PSP Development Forums |

PSP homebrew developer Poison_xtreamlua dropped by the QJ.Net Forums earlier to announce the release of his very own keyboard application. Poison explains that this C/C++-coded homebrew was created out of necessity, as Danzeff's OSK wouldn't work on one of his homebrews.Poison's keyboard is described to be "not better the Danzeff's keyboard of course," with this release including the app's source codes. As for controls:

-Maniac- has dropped by our PSP development forums to tell us about the release of the tool he coded for aspiring homebrew developers for PSP - C/C++ Development Studio. It's a PC-based development application designed specifically to help coders via enhanced developing GUI/environment. This one's very much like his PSP Lua Software Studio, only this version caters more to C and C++ programming languages. Here's the list of the PSP application's features, straight from developer -Maniac-:

We missed Alatnet and his uber-useful 3D modeling application Gmax2PSP. He recently came back into the fray with version 4 of his program and less than 48 hours later, he's come up with Gmax2PSP v5.For those who haven't heard of it, homebrewers can use this to make custom content for their games, so long as they're gmax-enabled. The big addition to version 5, as a result of popular demand, is the ability to export models from C/C++. Yes, homebrewers, it's the programming addition you've been waiting for, and it's ready for you to pick up and use at will. Now, some words of advice. You'll want to check out the version 4 forum thread for instructions on installing and using the program. It's always a good idea to know what you're getting into, else you could run the risk of harming your PSP. That being said, if you want to give him props for version 5, visit the v5 discussion thread, and if you want to report bugs and other errors that need addressing, visit the v4 discussion thread. Enjoy! New Features:

The homebrew scene, since the first time it appeared and appealed to us, has inspired several gamers to come up with something new - be it a game or an application. Or sometimes, just something.
Creating homebrew for beginners doesn't have to be in the grand manner at once. As they say, great things start from small beginnings. So we would like to applaud hallo007 for coming up with his first Lua. Hopefully, he can know more about the codes and probably move on to C/C++. For those who would like to see, we made hallo007's file available for download. We encourage everyone in the know to give hallo007 tips so that he may well be into creating games soon (as he wrote, he's "now working on a menu with background and later i m gonna make a little game").
