THQ has unveiled its financial scorecard for this fiscal year's opening quarter and though it looked pretty at first, things quickly went south as we checked out how much it lost. Apparently, bigger revenues don't necessarily translate into bigger profits as you'll find out in the full article up ahead. |

THQ's Brian Farrell isn't shy to point out that Saints Row is one of their new, blossoming franchises, and they promised to give such videogame titles the attention they deserve from the self-proclaimed "creative hub" of the industry. Saints Row 2 is confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 after being an Xbox 360 exclusive with the first game, but it would appear the sequel isn't planned for consoles only. As it turns out, Saints Row 2 for the PC exists as well. The specifics follow at the full story. |

What do you when you've gone through some tough times? Simple: you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on. That seems to be what THQ is doing, following what it has described as "a very tough year." Thing is, the adjustments appear to involve job cuts as well as new plans. More adjustments occur in the full article after the jump. |

Whoa. Did he say what I think he just said? Brian Farrel, head honcho and the man of the "creative hub" that is THQ, spilled the game publisher's thoughts on their future ventures. And while strumming a few notes to the tune of market segmentation, Farrell revealed that the Warhammer 40k and Company of Heroes franchises were heading online - and in the massively multiplayer fashion, too. More details at the full article. |

A lot of talk has been going around regarding the currently pending Activision-Vivendi deal and EA's US$ 2 billion offer for Take-Two Interactive. While it may seem that mergers and acquisitions are the current trend, THQ's Chief Executive Brian Farrell feels that it isn't a necessity for company growth. To find out more, head on over to the full article. |
