Best Buy - Image 1"Consumers are back out spending again." That's what Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn said as he described his anticipation for the forthcoming holidays. Nintendo Weekend Warrior - Image 1"Price cut" seems like the console mantra for months now, putting the pressure on major players in the industry to take a bit off their hardware price to stay competitive. Nintendo, so it seems, remains adamant about not lowering the Wii price, despite five months of sales decline, possibly going six. If Nintendo won't, then the retailers may be taking matters into their own hands, with rumors of price cuts surfacing anew.

The newly-announced, slimmed-down model of the PlayStation 3 is apparently selling so hot that retailers' first shipments have already been sold out.
