With all the recent shortcomings of Australian-based developer Auran, the company's former CEO Tony Hilliam has finally announced that Auran has decided to call it quits and close shop.

This declaration was contrary to his previous statement when Hilliam mentioned that operations will still continue smoothly despite the sixty-man layoff within the core development team.

After a rather lukewarm reception for Auran's MMORPG Fury, CEO Tony Hilliam confirmed the sixty-man retrenchment of the original development team in favor of outsourcing any future work to China. The decision was linked to the rather slow start the MMORPG received upon its release last October.
