Here's a new gameplay video for upcoming Wii action/adventure title Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire featuring one of the deadlier in-game bosses Norgiloth. Before we begin, take note that the said boss is actually a three-headed dragon with teeth of metal and a body that can generate electric current.
If you go up against Norgiloth, you should watch for its Quake Attack - a machine-gun like fire of metal shards which covers a huge areas and is not easily dodged. Maybe the best thing to do when Norgiloth unleashes this to you is to prepare your Dragon Guard and pray to the gods you come out unharmed. Anyway, enough spoilers from us and just enjoy the video below for D3Publisher's Dragon blade: Wrath of Fire. |

With exceptional visuals, brutal one-hit kill moves, and the rich world of Greek mythology to draw from, Codemasters' Rise of the Argonauts for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC is looking to be one of the best-looking (and best-playing) games coming out this year.
Today's update about this ambitious IP is an interview during E3 about the game's Dynamic Combat System which pretty much lets you customize King Jason as you see fit. In this video, we learn about how the game streamlines the RPG experience into something easier, faster and more gratifying. For instance, levelling up Jason's different areas of expertise is as easy as dedicating your heroic exploits (rescuing people, killing monsters, that sort of malarkey) to the relevant god. We also get to find out that combat in Rise of the Argonauts will be quite the visceral experience. Rather than having your opponents take a set number of hits before finally going down, it's more of a single-hit kill affair. |

After dishing out some gameplay-related details straight from God of War II game director Cory Balrog, we're now releasing some in-game screenshots featuring God of Badass, err, War directly from the video game's developer, Ready At Dawn (courtesy of PlayFrance). As you can see from the game's image above, Kratos now carries a shield to make up for the loss of his dodge moves (PSP doesn't have a right analog stick for it remember?). We're also treated to a menacing screenie of a Cyclop baddie wielding a wooden club thingie (God of War has been known for its creative use of Mythological characters and weaponries). Lastly, we're given a glimpse of how sick the graphics for the PSP version will be, and as a God of War follower myself, I have to admit this is almost of PS2 quality. Anyway, God of War: Chains of Olympus will follow Kratos' dark path right after Ares chained him with the Blades of Chaos. As a soldier of Ares, Kratos is forced to do his bidding which usually had him waging the former God of War's battles. It should also give us a better grasp of the old Spartan general's struggles under the command of Ares, as well as how he coped up with the loss of his soul (it should be remembered that he asked Ares to make him a great warrior in exchange for his soul). God of War: Chains of Olympus should hit video games' store shelves come November. That's pretty short in video gaming timetables (provided there are no delays), so we should be able to see the Ghost of Sparta combo'ing with his Blades of Chaos inside our PSPs in no time. |

The Crew Exploration Vehicle project that is intended to take man to the moon again has a name and logo: Orion. A proposed logo of the CEV project with the name "Orion" and marked "approved" has been seen in an internal NASA document. Other reports have NASA applying for trademark protection for "Orion." The Orion constellation features on the logo, along with a blue globe and red orbital vector. |

NASA is taking on the tried and tested formula of the Apollo program that brought the first humans to the Moon way back in 1969, as they are faced with tight deadlines and uncertain budgets. The team has been ripping apart the Apollo to examine its ancient parts as a reference for the new rocket.
The new manned exploration project, called Constellation, is deliberately drawing upon lessons from the past as the space agency works to meet a congressional deadline of flying the Ares rocket by 2014. In fact, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin has described the new program as "Apollo on steroids." "We're not inventing rocket engines. This is an evolution," NASA associate administrator Scott Horowitz said during a visit to Marshall, which is in charge of developing propulsion systems for the new spacecraft. "You get the benefits of the heritage, but you also get the benefits of new technology to help drive down costs." But will history repeat itself? |

After sifting through a number of name books for babies born on earth and heaven, doting NASA officials finally settled on a name for their rockest bound for the Moon and Mars: Ares. Ares is the Greek God of War also known as Mars by the Romans.Ares 1 and Ares 5 are expected to take future astronauts and heavy cargo back to the Moon and beyond. The first unmanned Ares test flight is expected in 2009. Piloted test is set for 2014. Ares 1 will serve as NASA’s Crew Launch Vehicle and will launch the Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV), a 25-ton capsule-based spacecraft designed to ferry astronauts to the ISS and Moon. Ares 5 will be NASA's Cargo Launch Vehicle capable of boosting a 45-ton lunar lander and a rocket stage to ferry the lander and CEV to the Moon. |
