2K Sports' Top Spin 3 (DS, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) has been touted as real tennis for hardcore gamers, but just how realistic will it get? We all know that when somebody mentions the Irrational Games' upcoming video game Bioshock, water comes to mind. Along with the Little Sisters and Big Daddies. Anyway, we've got a new video interview and it centers on the water effects and the enemies players will face on the underwater game.
2K Games' Anthony DeLuca, producer for Bioshock, talked about the general feel of the game and the choices players can make in-game. He revealed that they have artists dedicated to the water effects for the general ambiance of Bioshock. He also talked about the use of plasmids which players can use to their advantage. An electricity plasmid can be used attack several enemies in one shot (when in water, of course) and the fire plasmid to incinerate enemies. He also mentioned that there would be different endings depending on the choices the players make. It all sounds intriguing, so don't let us spoil it all for you. Bioshock (Xbox 360 and PC), by the way, will be splashing onto shelves this August. In the meantime, check out the video. |

Can't wait for more The Darkness? Good news for those of you who are looking out for this one. GameTrailers scored an interview with producer Anthony DeLuca and Marc Silvestri (founder of Top Cow and creator of the comic book). Plus there's a Heart Eating montage - not for the faint of heart. (Excuse the pun.)
The Darkness' Jackie Estacado is certainly no saint and we'll see why as the creator himself explains it. Silvestri also discusses the collaboration of Top Cow and Starbreeze. DeLuca discusses the gameplay of The Darkness briefly and the multiplayer mode of the game where players can play as darklings. The video montage aptly called "Heart Eating" features the Dark Tentacles... well, eating enemies' hearts out. The Darkness both for the Xbox360 and the PS3 will be making a dent on the shelves on June 25. We'll quit the prattle and let you watch the videos. Enjoy! Marc Silvestri and the Heart Eating trailer over at Full Article! |

During the recently held Comic Con, the folks at GameTrailers were able to have a little one-on-one with Anthony Deluca, 2K's producer for the upcoming dark and gory shooter, The Darkness (PS3, Xbox360). In addition to talking up the game's settings and storyline, Deluca also reveals more info on game production like how they pushed the ESRB's limits on violence, the voices behind the characters, and tons more. First, the ESRB thing: Deluca said that they worked closely with ESRB to help them set the limits on how far is too far in terms of the game's gore and violence. So yeah, they had to tone it down a bit. Not to worry though, you'll still get to see tons of bloodshed (in full 3D, if we might add) in all the five chapters of the game. As for the voice talents, Peeping Tom-fanatics will be glad to know that noise-rock renaissance man Mike Patton will be featured as the voice of the Darkness, so you'll basically have him whispering to you throughout the whole game. Lauren Ambrose (from HBO's 6 Feet Under) will also be lending her voice talents to Jenny, one of the female characters you'll find in the game. The Darkness will be brought to light late Spring this year. Buy: [The Darkness (PS3)] Buy: [The Darkness (Xbox 360)] |
