Cloverdale - Image 1

Everybody has hometown memories. Where they grew up, went to school, and played their very first basketball game. The pros are no different and NBA Street Homecourt will showcase where the ballers came from. Here's an inside look the the courts.

Venice Beach - It's the basketball court to the stars in Los Angeles, CA. Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant frequent this court for pickup games. In game, here is where you'll meet Baron Davis and Jason Kidd.

Cloverdale - It's the pride of Baltimore, MD and homecourt of Carmelo Anthony. It spawned another great - Sam Cassel, along with many of the disbanded Baltimore Bullets. In game, this is where you play your first NBA game against Anthony, Cassel and Jaun Dixon.

Ash Park - Coatesville, PA has Ash Park, which served as the training field for no less than Rip Hamilton. He trained there with his mentor, Ricky Hicks and renovated the park and the court itself. In game, this is where the first Homecourt Tourney happens. Defending this court would be imports from Philly Kobe Bryant and Rasheed Wallace.

Rupert Bell Rec - Located in Winston-Salem, NC, Rupert Bell Rec is home to Chris Paul. This is also where the second Homecourt Tournament takes place.

The GOAT - At the heart of Manhattan lies the GOAT (New York, NY) slathered in funky blue and green paint. Rafer Alston regularly plays there. In game, the best the East Coast can offer converge there. Ron Artest, Allen Iverson, and Stephon Marbury. 'Nuff said.

Franklin Park - West side Chicago, IL has Franklin Park with signs of the Chicago Bulls plastered on the walls. Kevin Garnett can give you a tour. In game, Kevin Garnett and Lebron James defend their homecourt.

NBA Street PS3 packshot - Image 1So you've seen the countless videos and screens for NBA Street Homecourt (PS3, Xbox360). By now you probably think you already know everything there is to know about the game but just to be sure, you might wanna run a checklist with the fact sheet we have now.

Here are the game features you can look forward to in NBA Street :
  • Trick Remixer: This all-new trick system gives you the ball and puts it in your hand. Take control of your player's rhythm mixing quick tricks with elaborate moves using two trick buttons. Perform crossovers with an instantaneous response and string together the perfect blend of combinations to take over any game.
  • Game Breaker: Unleash a whole new set of over-the-top tricks and dunks, or watch in disbelief as your rival steals away the opportunity. Whoever has the money ball owns the Game Breaker, so releasing it into play is only the start of the pulse-pounding action.
  • All-new dunk controls keep you engaged from take-off to throw down. Rule the court above the rim by leaping off a teammate's shoulders for a jump-off dunk or pull-off the ultimate double dunk.
  • Master Skills: The best NBA players have hidden master skills that separate them from the rest. Take them head on as you level up your created baller and make him a master in his own right.
  • Become a Homecourt Hero: Go from an unknown talent to a playground legend and put your homecourt on the map by dominating courts from coast-to-coast. Create a baller, improve his game, and feel his confidence build after every win. It's your turn to take on the NBA's best and walk away a hero.
  • Every Legend has a Beginning: The NBA's best all came from somewhere and many built their skills and reputations in their hometown playgrounds – including NBA Stars Carmelo Anthony and Richard Hamilton. Earn the right to take them on head-to-head in their real-life homecourts.
  • Create-a-player system: New Create Player system allows you to quickly create avatars by melding your favorite NBA stars into the ultimate baller. Mix and match the likes of Vince Carter and LeBron James for leaping ability, Allen Iverson and Chris Paul for ball handling, and Ray Allen and Peja Stojakovic for superior shooting skills.
  • Six of your favorite WNBA stars are featured for the first time ever, including Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird and Sheryl Swoopes.
  • Take the Game Online: Represent your homecourt online with your created player against the nation's greatest ballers—anywhere, anytime.

The Answer

After ten years of wearing the red and black uniform of Philadelphia 76ers, Allan Iverson finally trades it in for the pristine blue and white Denver Nuggets jersey.

And without missing a beat, NBA Street Homecourt releases the exclusive first screens of A.I. in the game sporting his new attire. Hmmm...two controversial NBA stars now in the same team, wearing the same uniform and making waves in EA's streetball title. One lands on the cover (while also landing some punches in the paint), and one making a splashing "debut". This game's definitely got its ball rollin'.

Now all we need to see is if there's enough ball for both of them.
