It's been a long time since we've heard anything from the ambitious, lore-rich Elveon or news of its adaptation to Windows, Microsoft's Xbox 360, and (surprise!) Sony's PlayStation 3. Has the action RPG of Elven influence been shelved? That's a negatory, bub. The project apparently changed hands, and Elveon now has hopes of entering the gaming fray in 2009 thanks to the independent game company, Climax Group. Learn more about the switcheroo at the full story. |

After more than 20 years since his original conception on the Commodore 64, Rockford comes out with a facelift and a few tricks as he steps on to the handheld with Boulder Dash - Rocks!
To be released by 10tacle Studios along with co-publisher First Star Software, the game will soon be available for both the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable. What we have here today are a few more screenshots for the PSP version of the title. Aside from the orientation differences on both platforms, the game seems quite the same in all aspects including the addicting arcade-puzzle fun the game induces. Boulder Dash - Rocks! for the PSP will be coming out first quarter of next year so people looking for a little nostalgia or just good old fashioned clean fun will have to wait until then. See the rest of the screenshots after the jump! |

Here's something for old school video game lovers out there: the official website of DS and PSP title Boulder Dash-Rocks! has just gone live and with it comes various media content like wallpapers, screenshots, and even more information on the changes made in the franchise since it was first released in the 80s.For our younger audience as well as those not familiar with the game, Boulder Dash-Rocks! revolves around the character Rockford whose job is to dig through caves and collect diamonds. Of course, this is easier said than done because Rockford will meet a lot of opposition in the form of enemy creatures as well as falling rocks. According to developer Tuna Technologies and 10tacle Studios, several new features have been incorporated in the new game such as bombs and laser guns. These can be used by Rockford in collecting the said diamonds. Graphics have been improved, of course, and several modes were incorporated as well including a multiplayer one. If you want to know more about Boulder Dash-Rocks!, our Read link below should take you to the official site. The title will be released on Q1 2008. |
