cquake r39 is elhobbs' version of the Quake, specifically brewed for the Nintendo DS. What makes this port different is that it utilizes fewer resources to operate, therefore running mostly on linkers.

Changelog:

updated cquake.nds for single player only. Works in DS and DSi mode

updated for latest libnds

changed makefile to compile as arm code

cquake r39 is elhobbs' version of the Quake, specifically brewed for the Nintendo DS.

DS Homebrew: FlashCart Helper v0.5.6

Need help with your FlashCarts? Then ron975's got your back, thanks to his homebrewed utility, Flashcart Helper. Just a few days back, he came out with v0.5, and today, he amps it up by bringing it to version 0.5.6.

What's the difference between the two? Check out the changelog for v0.5.6:

Fixed files. TXT deleted at startup

Added NDSTokyoTrim

ISmartMM supported

Application of the operating system to launch

Added message "Invalid choice" in case of invalid options

DS App Studio is Awesomisoft's PC utility offering for the DS. This version pegs it at v0.5, with a variety of changes implemented.

New Features:

Adding fonts

A log of the compilation process

When compiling, You Can Easily now see the warnings, or errors, That Were Made DURING the compiltion.

Removed Features:

A Few buttons That Were one needed (Such as a duplicate of the Compilation button in the Project menu.

Fixes:

The makefile error during compilation

With the exceptions Temp.NDS not existing.

The NO $ GBA emulator not Being Able to find the compiled NDS When The compilation process succesful WAS.

Min presents his brand new NDS homebrew, AnkRace. Basically, it's a race among rubber ducks, and you as the player will be placing your bet on which one will get through the water course first.

It's a lot like horse racing, actually, only, with rubber ducks. It might need some patience on your part, though, as they can seem pretty slow considering that it's a race. Anyway, here are the controls:

Left/Right - Select duck / rotate camera

Up/Down - Control bet size

A - Confirm

L/R/L+R - Use with up/down to increase/decrease bet size more rapidly

It's a horse race, but with rubber duckies.

Alekmaul has released the Atari 7800 Pro System Emu, which is based on ProSystem emulator .

Alekmaul has released a third homebrew bounty offering for Nintendo DS enthusiasts. This time, it's the Atari 7800 Pro System Emu, which is based on ProSystem emulator .

For you to fully enjoy this emulator, you have to make sure you use compatible rom with a 78/bin format.

As for the controls:

Direction pad : the joystick

A : Fire button 1

B : Fire button 2

SELECT : SELECT Button

START : START Button

R : RESET Button (yes R like Reset)

This release is the initial release, and is based on Alekmaul's a320 version (which is based on Prosystem 1.0.3).The changelog attached in the Readme also states that it is also Compiled with last version of Devkitpro/libnds, so it is DSi compatible.
