Your Nintendo 3DS says a lot about who you are. If you have a blue one, for example, it says that you like blue. If you have a red one, it says that you like red. If you have one decked out with this Metal Gear Solid accessory kit, it says that you like stealthily murdering your opponents and wearing eye patches.

Vita Launch Line-Up Confirmed

Want to know what games are hitting shelves with the Vita when it drops here in the U.S.? Check out our list!

Today has been an interesting day for Vita news. First, we got an idea of how expensive the device’s memory cards were actually going to be (read: not very). Now, we have a confirmed and official list of every game that will be available at launch. And the list is pretty long, especially when compared to some other launches.

Some of the games are likely not going to be great, but the presence of Uncharted and Hot Shots Golf are enough to ensure Sony sells at least a few thousand devices. And hey, who doesn’t love Katamari?

Minecon 2011 - Celebrate the Minecraft Release

While two juggernaut franchises go head-to-head, Bethesda’s latest RPG masterpiece creeps steadily up the charts.

There’s been tons of focus in recent months on the epic clash between Activision’s billion-dollar “call of Duty” franchise and EA’s smaller yet also enormously successful IP, “Battlefield.” Much of the narrative in the gaming press focuses on this clash of the titans as a “kill or be killed” scenario, in which one game is going to earn the rank of “hugest game ever” and the other will be forever condemned to obscurity.

Of course, we gamers know that both games are going to be massive successes regardless of who wins the sales battle, and the pre-order figures suggest that both EA and Activision are going to have very fine holiday seasons. What no one seems to have picked up on, however is how Bethesda’s “The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim” is creeping up the presale chart and now lies in third place, just 200,000 sales from “Battlefield 3.”

Here’s a breakdown on the top ten contenders, thanks to VG Chartz:

1 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Overall, this chart doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know about the upcoming fall barrage of releases, except maybe that PS3 owners aren’t that into pre-ordering things. However, it would be fun to see the narrative between EA and Activision completely disrupted by a massive surge in “Skyrim” pre-orders.

I’m planning on picking up “Battlefield 3,” “Skyrim” and “Skyward Sword” this fall. What about you?

Version 1.55 update promises to deliver a whole new experience with a new start-up interface, a wardrobe and furniture browser update, as well as many enhancements that will result in "improved stability and smoother operation" of the Home client.
