With awful Diablo III reviews still tumbling in, Blizzard goes on the offensive with an apology blitz. Also, they’re yanking the player auction house indefinitely. Oops!

The free-to-play title based on sliding around a map uncontrollably and shooting other people in the face is doing quite well, thank you.

The Binding of Isaac isn't the only one getting a content bump, as Starcraft II is getting some features that will make even non-players' mouth water.

EA’s combative stance against digital distribution networks other than Origin claims its second victim, with Green Man Games removing all EA titles from their service.
You may remember a news item from a few months ago indicating that Steam had pulled all of EA’s games due to contract disagreements regarding downloadable content. Also cited was EA’s apparent desire to make enemies out of every other game developer and aggressively push their barely-functioning Origin system down the throats of gamers.
While Origin has admittedly improved, many EA games are still missing from the Steam marketplace and it doesn’t look like the publisher is planning changing its ways any time soon. EA’s strange posturing over its titles has now resulted in the loss of another digital distributor - as of today, Green Man Games has officially removed all EA titles from its roster for what appear to be similar reasons.
Here’s a quote from GMG’s community manager:
"Bad news folks, we very unfortunately have to pull down EA products from sale in all regions except for the UK. We're currently in talks with EA to see if this can be changed, however I can't give any kind of guarantees aside from saying as soon as I know something I will let you know too."
EA games are still available through Green Man Games if you live in the UK, but everyone else is out of luck. Call it one more step in EA’s plan to push all of its gamers to Origin, which I imagine ups their profit margins considerably. I’m not much of a PC gamer and the games I do run through Steam are mostly Valve titles, but it certainly seems like a strange decision to cut off a huge part of the market in the hopes they’ll migrate to an unproven service.
Is EA making the right call by forcing gamers to use Origin for new titles, or is leaving other distributors out of the loop a mistake?

We've seen it coming, but nonetheless, it still doesn't make it any less astounding when the news is made official.
We've seen it coming, but nonetheless, it still doesn't make it any less astounding when the news is made official. We knew the PlayStation Vita won't be coming with a memory card, and we're already expecting that it will be costing some arm and leg from us.
So, what's the official verdict? The PlayStation Vita memory cards definitely are not coming for cheap. Based on the press release that Sony Japan sent out for the PS Vita's Japanese launch, there will be four different sizes for the cards when they come out:
4GB - JPY 2,200 (US$ 29)
8GB - JPY 3,200 (US$ 42)
16GB - JPY, 5,500 (US$ 72)
32GB - JPY 9,500 (US$ 124)
Now, these cards are all under the Sony brand, of course, but you do have the option to use instead third-party cards. They should be much cheaper than the Sony ones, so at least you have that alternative. The only setback is that these third-party manufactured cards might not work as efficiently as a Sony card would. Yeah, they've tied us down to them efficiently that way.
They've got a lot more accessories to bleed your wallet out dry with, so in case you want to check those out as well, just follow the source link below for the full press release.
In the meantime, Yoshinori Ono is advising Western fans to keep their behinds glued to their seats, and just keep their cool waiting for the Vita to arrive in the region.

Gear up for OnLive, UK. A date's been set for its official launch in the region.
The cloud-gaming service is set to arrive on September 22nd, to coincide with the opening of the Eurogamer Expo, happening in London.
Said Steve Perlman, Founder and CEO for OnLive, "OnLive will utterly transform gaming in the UK. No discs, big downloads or specialized hardware needed. OnLive gives you the latest games instantly, anytime, anywhere on HDTV, PC, Mac, as we as iPad, Android tablets."
If you're attending the Expo, then you can get your hands on OnLive itself so you can check it out. If you're lucky enough, you can even take one home for free.
The UK service will also be fully integarted with that in North America. The California-based company has also expressed confidence that their technology can actually work on both Sony and Microsoft's consoles. Oh, and that it can definitely do everything that the Wii U does.

Fans awaiting White Knight Chronicles 2 in North America will have to wait a bit longer as publisher D3 confirmed the game's delay in the region.
Originally, the game was set for an August 2nd release, but now it's been revealed to being pushed back by a good month. The announcement was made on the game's official Facebook page, stating thus: "We are targeting September 2011 for the release of the game."
No reason was offered as to why the delay was decided upon, but Europe certainly did not get any problems getting the game as it successfully launched there just earlier this month. Japan, meanwhile, had been enjoying the WKC sequel since July of last year.
D3 Publisher, back in April, proudly announced that the first title, White Knight Chronicles, had hit the 1 million mark in shipments made. Those who missed out on the first title will also be glad to know that you can play WKC2 even without the first title.
