Say what? New Soul Calibur won't be getting who?

Those who are still on board the guessing game as to who's in or who's not in Soul: Calibur IV, you might as well scratch off one more character from the list.

Project Director Daishi Odashima confirmed via twitter that Shura won't be making a comeback for this particular installation of the franchise.

"I'll be honest with you. Sorry to say but she won't be back."

Aww.. that's too bad for those who are on the lookout for the re-appearance of the twin kitana-wielding babe back in the franchise. No reason was provided as to why she didn't make the cut this time around.

Hopefully, though, Soul Calibur IV will have more than enough characters to keep make up for this loss.

Developer Kaos Studios, however, think that their new IP has what it takes to stand up against the big boys.

On Friday, February 25, Nintendo finally unleashed their new 3DS handheld video game platform onto the Japanese masses. The initial enthusiasm that greeted the Nintendo 3DS mirrored other successful Nintendo platform launches in the past, but according to a few analysts the new handheld might not have the same impact or staying power that the DS had. Their reason? There are just too many smartphones around today.

Deep Silver: Dead Island trailer shows no one is safe

Techland made quite a big splash when they unveiled the official trailer for Dead Island last week. Reactions to the popular trailer, which showed a family under siege by a horde of zombies, were mixed -- some people loved it, some condemned it for showing a little girl in a not so happy situation. Animation house Axis has already responded to the reactions that the the trailer generated, and now it's Deep Silver's turn to expound a bit.

Valve explains lack of Move support for Portal 2

New Din's Curse patch released, demo updated

Since its release last year, independent video game developer Soldak Enteraniment has continued tweaking and adding new features to Din's Curse with patches and even an expansion called Demon War. Just recently, the latest patch slipped out of its beta phase and is now available for download. They've also updated he game's demo to reflect additions in the patch and in the Demon War expansion.
