2K sports makes a new feature for NBA 2K7

Did you make some outrageously fantastic play in your last game of NBA 2K7? Ever wish there was some way to keep that memory of outrageously sweet basketball pwnage forever? Would you like to piss off your friends by bragging about your 200/200 online winning streak? Well, you can try doing that now.

2K Sports, makers of NBA 2K7, are coming up with an exclusive piece of prime content for your Xbox 360. Called the 2K Reelmaker, the new feature lets fans make their very own video highlight reels from saved replays in NBA 2K7. Remember what we said about bragging rights? Well, after making your very own highlight reel, you can share the vids through Xbox Live. A very sweet deal.

According to Erik Whiteford, VP of Marketing for 2K Sports, "2K Sports has always delivered the most innovative and entertaining sports titles to gamers everywhere and now with Xbox Live, our work can continue even after our games are in the hands of gamers." It sounds like a lot of fun to make and create these highlight reels, but you can expect a ton of trash talking to ensue when everyone starts arguing about how good their skills are. Still, bragging rights have always been a big part of basketball, so it's actually a rather natural progression for the video game.

You can pick up 2K Reelmaker on Xbox Live Marketplace right now. While it does cost 400 points, it's a small price to pay to have everyone recognize your greatness. Enjoy!

Damn...

NBA 2K lets you save replays?!?....does NHL 2K let you save replays as well ? This is something I think should have been in every sports game since HDD's were standard...
