XENON 360 case: splitting hairs, ends, and wits

Xtreme Enterprise, the brains behind the Fantasy-360 console (whenever that will be unveiled, or if substantial news will peek out when), decided to clobber up something else, this time directed towards the home case modder who'd want custom 360 cases and not just faceplates. Who might want to paint his own Xbox 360 shell the way he'd like it. Who wants his own Fantasy-360 (well, his vision of it, and not Xtreme Enterprise's). Or who just wants his 360 really in the buff.

Well, here's the prototype of Xtreme's XENON 360 Xbox 360 case mod solution. The solution is to split the case in two, like so:

Easy enough, ain't it? No tools, no chisels and screwdrivers, no breaking out the chainsaws, Marcus. Easy as one, two... (You know what? It's easy we don't even have to count). Because it's still a prototype, as they claim in the mod-centric xbox-central, it's probably likely that they're looking for a vendor - they did mention it's close to launch, just not quite yet.

If they keep the transparent look, we could call it a nakee-ladee look for the 360 (how rude! A gentleman never looks into the unmentionables). Another useful way to market this case solution is as part of a DIY-case mod kit, you know, Paint-Your-Own-Case - in which case the surface might be roughened up a bit to hold a layer of artwork (maybe also some sort of seal to hold the art in place after). But that's imagination talking. The following three pictures, also on xbox-central, show off the features the XENON 360.
