Xbox Live Update Preview Program now accepting sign-Ups

Head's up, to all Xbox 360 owners. Microsoft has announced that they are giving select users the chance to preview some of the contents of the upcoming Xbox 360 Dashboard update via the "Xbox 360 System Update Preview Program." According to Major Nelson:

"The Preview Program will give you the chance to check out ESPN on Xbox LIVE, Zune music, Netflix search, the new Xbox LIVE dashboard, and new updates to Zune video and Family Settings on your Xbox 360. Much like we did last year, you’ll need to visit the Microsoft Connect site from this link and sign in with your Windows LIVE ID that is connected to your Xbox LIVE Gamertag. Once you complete the survey that is presented to you, the Connect site will notify you immediately if you’ve been accepted."

The Major also added that this has nothing to do with the Kinect beta test and will be open to all Xbox Live Members in regions where Xbox LIVE is available.

The RRoD is a hardware fault. updating isn't going to do shit to your xbox.

Sorry to those of you who find this message too late (sadly I am one of them...), but it seems we are a day late.

Ryan you might want to update this, with the update from Major Nelson...the beta sign up has closed.

Update: We have as many people as we need right now, and registration is now closed. If we need any more, I’ll make a post.

I still recommend people sign up and keep it pending. If they need more people then we are already signed up.

i think the dashboard looks ugly the normal crazy bright green looked way better and why didnt they sign online? and have 0 gamerscore? or even show the ESPN feature? hmmm
