Xbox Live Arcade update: Poker Smash, Crystal Quest gameplay update

It's time for another Xbox Live update, and this week arcade gaming fans will be treated to a new puzzle game with a hint of poker. A different take on usual Ye Olde Puzzle game, Void Star Creations' Poker Smash will have gamers rush to clear out rows of cards, by arranging them into poker hands.

Like all other puzzle games, Poker Smash will have several items available to aid gamers who find themselves in a pinch, such as card-blasting bombs. The game has seven gameplay modes all in all, such as Action, Timed, Puzzle, Practice, Custom Playlist, Split Screen, and Multiplayer Tournaments. Poker Smash is also packed in with Achievement points worth 200 points.

However, that's not the only thing to look forward to in Xbox Live Arcade's latest update. Stainless Games' Crystal Quest will also release a new gameplay update this week, for gratis. The gameplay update adds a nice score multiplayer, adding some more hectic fun to the already solid game.

Poker Smash will be available for only 800 MS Points beginning on February 6.
