Xbox Dashboard "confirms" Gears of War 3 for April 2011 |

Cliff Bleszinski's majore announcement on the Jimmy Fallon show won't be till Monday, but it looks like someone from Microsoft didn't get the memo and assumed that Gears of War 3 was already officially announced. On the Xbox 360 dashboard appeared this image of an announcement regarding the much-awaited shooter, and mentions a 2011 release date as well.
"The epic story concludes April 2011", so said the image. This supports the circulating rumor that the game will be out next April. It's been said that Gears of War 3 will finally end the series that started some four years ago.
It was also initially speculated that it will be sure to come out before the end of 2010, but it seems like Epic Games chose to make way for Halo: Reach, which is also set to come out later this year.
