Xbox 360 - Image 1You remember that report that we ran about Microsoft allegedly teaming up with Gyration to create a motion-sensing controller codenamed Newton? While both companies brushed off the buzz, new word is out to up the ante on the rumor.

According to Kotaku, there's a possibility for the new Xbox 360 controller to debut as early as next week. The publication did not name its sources, but said that the revelation may come along with the first look at Banjo Kazooie 3.

Rumors have been conflicting thus far, with some claiming that the new controller won't be shown until E3. Still, there are stories that it has already been shown to some members of the press in action with the new Banjo.

With this on the table, Microsoft's Tuesday event should be a very interesting one. We'll keep an eye out for it, so you guys stay there and keep visiting this space to find out.
