The XBLA service just keeps getting beefier and beefier, not only with exclusive contents, but also with a steady slew of remakes that'll make sure you get your fill of some retro-gaming action.
More surprises are at hand, too, and it's not that hard to imagine that all this flurry of activity and excitement are only in preparation for the biggest E3 event to happen --- oh, I don't know --- ever? Yes, let's make it ever.
Games:
- Epic Games is Microsoft's BFF. With Gears of War 2 hitting 5 million world wide, not only are they releasing a celebratory Dark Corners DLC Map Pack, they're also throwing in an All Fronts Collection add-on retail bundle to boot. Link
- Gears of War 2 getting Dark Corners DLC in July. Link
- No demo for Final Fantasy XIII outside of Japan, but maybe -- JUST MAYBE -- we'll get one on XBL. Link
- Is Perfect Dark coming to the XBL? That's what they said this week. Link
- Top Gun and Days of Thunder to arrive soon. Link
- Watch Fallout 3's Broken Steel DLC debut trailer here. Link
- It's the pizza-loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! And they're painting the XBL town just a tad bit greener this time with Turtles in Time the remake. Link
- Microsoft wants us to pay attention for an Xbox announcement on E3. Link Could this be the confirmation for the rumored motion-sensing controller for the Xbox 360? Link They even say that it's already been demoed at the CES of last year. Link
Industry:- Bizarre Creations could not help but spill a few beans about the ugly side of Microsoft. They were all cocky and corporate with Project Gotham Racing 4, they said. Link
- Don't share wrong math. Microsoft clears the air on the real score regarding the newest batch of layoffs. It's 28%, not 75%. Link
- Cliff Bleszinski's taking Hollywood by storm in the form of Gears of War movie, says it's everything you want to see, but bigger. Link
Ooohh.. catfight!
Hope you enjoyed this week, as much / more than you did the last. As usual, we'll just be here giving you your dose of gaming news and updates, so take a comfortable seat right there cos we expect the coming week to be just as exciting.
