It was another frenzied week for the Xbox 360 blog, with beat-'em-up fighters and persistent zombies taking the lead in news items. Yep, am talking about Street Fighter IV and Left 4 Dead, parts 1 and 2. Although Doug Lombardi of Valve seems to be on a media mileage race of his own, talking a whole lot more about their intentions and motives in coming out with a L4D sequel so soon. I think he feels like he's got a lot of explaining to do.

On the Industry side of things, Microsoft's been relatively quiet. I mean, apart from their announcement of bringing in ads to your XBL dashboard, there wasn't really anything much happening.

Oh yeah, I hear they're being sued yet again. This time for patent infringement on the XBL.



Gaming:
  • Left 4 Dead:
    • Modder pays tribute to Michael Jackson via Left 4 Dead Link
    • As promised, L4D1 won't be neglected. As a matter of fact, there will be an announcement by the end of summer. Demo also planned for L4D2. Link
    • There was a boycott petition, right? So how come there's twice the number of pre-orders for Let 4 Dead 2? Link
