Xbox 360 Water Balloon event in Australia

Xbox Water Baloon Challenge

Microsoft will be conducting a Water Balloon Challenge on 22 April at Coogee Beach in Sydney. Although it hasn't been announced officially yet, the objective is to set a water-balloon throwing world record !

Everyone who registers and turns up at the event gets :
  • An Xbox 360 Game
  • A commemorative Xbox 360 T-Shirt
  • Xbox 360 trucker cap and swimming goggles
  • Xbox 360 canvas bag
This event will also give the opportunity to play unreleased games. Plus, Melbourne band Kisschassy will be performing ,Nova 969 will be broadcasting live and MTV will be filming all the live action. There is a $20 registration fee and $5 from that fee will be donated to Coogee Surf Club. You also must be over 15 to register and the event is limited to 3600 participants. So quick, Register before the entries are all filled up! Think you're Game?

And by the way, the current record is held by 2,677 Spaniards, who threw 50,855 water balloons in 2005.

Okay, for whoever said this is stupid because of the balloon's that are going to pollute the area... I'm sure that MS is going to have a cleaning crew out there.



Second, no, it isn't free, but for $20, you get a free game (That is worth it) a t-shirt, a hat, and a canvas bag. This is worth the $20... not to mention you get to run around throwing water balloons at 3,599 other people. If only I lived in Australia...
