I like how everyone says "you can just get a PS3. you can just get a Wii. You can just get a 360"
Well actually, every console has its own perks
so its not as simple as just "transistioning" (if i spelled that right) also exclusives..
I don't think anyone would trade their Ps3 or 360 for a Wii, only an idiot.
I agree about the wii, its not a real console.. its aimed at people that dont really like games.
but nowdays the ps3 is deffinatly becoming the better console, what does the 360 have now?
price? nope, not if you want the full console
online? nope, one or two small features the ps3 hasnt got yet doesnt make it better or worth the money you have to continuously pay
Games? not anymore matey!
joypads? arguable, personly I like both the same.
length of console lifetime? lol and no free replacment SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS A GOOD THING they are only doing it because they gave you a faulty product in the first place.

I still think one of the main reasons the 360 did well at all, is because Americans prefer American made stuff and hate Japan.
Ha, Last time I checked the Wii, it play games. So I'm assuming it's a real console.
The POPstation Portable also plays games, does that make it a real console?
Why be a fan boy? your just depriving yourself of exclusive's and other features.
I like both the 360 and PS3
but At the moment i only own a 360, and maybe soon I'll buy a Ps3 when a bit more exclusives come out.
Although I would almost just buy it for MGS4, and MAG, and a couple other's.
But At the moment the PS3 is a bit weak, it'd be kind of useless (but not pointless) to buy one now since most games come out on both consoles.
The only "console" I despise is that dumb Wii.

The console you own depends on where you live. The Wii is pretty fun in Japan, you get nice Japan only games, Japan only services,etc. Kinda like the 1 seg support for handhelds. Xbox stuff don't sell as much in Japan either, not because of hate, but because it's just not popular to the Japanese audience. Which is something that must be considered when talking about how popular something is. Japanese producers think about Japanese audience, so it's not always as popular in NA or EU.
