Xbox 360 sales up by 20% in Japan

xbox360_manufacturing_01Microsoft had a very sweet month of March in Japan as sales of their Xbox 360 console skyrockets by up to 20%. Media Create Co. reported on Friday that between the dates of March 22nd through 28th, the console sold 3,002 units.



The sudden upswing in sales can most probably be attributed to the release of the Xbox 360 Elite Final Fantasy XIII bundle, as well as the Elite Spring 2010 Bundle.




Things are expected to only heat further as the release of Microsoft's motion-sensing technology, Project Natal, looms nearer.

There's no Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox 360 in Japan, so probably the bundle isn't one of the causes.
