This year's Thanksgiving weekend was the biggest sales week of the year for the Xbox 360, that's according to Director of Product Management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, Aaron Greenberg.According to Greenberg's tweet:
Great Black Friday results just in, biggest sales week of the year for Xbox360, more than 2xs previous week sales
Although he wasn't able to post any concrete numbers, Microsoft is expected to release the full sales figure in the coming days.

Sony is posting better numbers then same time last year. All MS is talking about is that they have "better numbers" then last week. That makes me think that MS might be down from same time last year.

You are 100% right on this one. I don't see anywhere that MS is claiming a win and I don't understand where anyone is getting that.
