Xbox 360 "sails past" 8 million mark in sales |
Ó
David Gosen, Xbox Europe's Vice President of Marketing, has announced that the Xbox 360 has just "sailed past" the 8 million-mark in console sales. This announcement comes in the heels of their unveiling of the new budget range, which includes Halo 3.Said Gosen, "As we see more and more families looking to save money by staying in, Xbox 360 continues to offer high-quality home entertainment at fantastic value and consumers."
The new budget range, otherwise known as the "Classics" collection, will most likely do more wonders for the sale of the console. Maybe.

And maybe that was done by MS on purpose. "8 million in sales..." Is that the dollar amount of sales generated on console sales this year, software sales this year, both, neither? The metric is never clarified, nor is what it is measuring specified. I personally doubt that it is console sales this year though, Id think they would be doing better then that.
but I think it means it has hit 8 million in total sales. Which doesn't make sense to me since I thought that mark was hit long time ago? Or both Sony and MS are way behind the Wii. Could also mean only for America which would make more sense.
It's not America that exceeded the 8 million mark. It's Europe that exceeded the 8 million mark. This isn't the 8 million dollars worth of sales for a yr or 8 million 360s for a yr this is 8 million 360s in Europe sold throughout its lifetime.
Since it's comming from the EU guy, it'd say that EU has hit 8+ million units......
good job....I guess.....
"8 million console sales in Europe."
Yeah, well vague. What on earth could it mean? 8 million consoles"? And where is "Europe"? If only they included the information I need in the article like how many of them were sold and where they're talking bout.
Did you just ask where is Europe. Europe is the group of continents next to Asia and above Africa +O.
Now if your asking about which countries include Europe that would be every country in Europe except for the UK. Atleast I think it is -.-
I meant to say its a group of countries that from the continent Europe which are to the West of the continent Asia and North of the African continent.
That actually make more sense now, guess I missed that before. Still, I would have thought more then 8 million 360s in all of europe. Maybe it does exclude England for some reason.
8 million - RROD + not much to be proud of
VgSlag was being sarcastic. England is in Europe.
