» U can't beat the best join the best...very typical

we all know how M$ is always overexaggeratin g how superior they are to every competitor out there especially against Sony and PS3. They claim to have the best games overall which was only halo 2.5 and it sucked, was scratched, poor customer return service.

if i was an xbot i would say the same thing like I love M$ u just raised the level of gaming.

M$ claims to have the best online service only cause it has 1 yr start over everyone else. Actually they claim they are the best.

If they are the best why do they need to offer some of SONY's products to boost them up the ladder.

It's like saying we think we are better then SONY so let's charge dumb xbots for some of SONY's stuff.

I won't be suprise if they start porting the PS1 games to the xbot as a next xbot live downloadable content....

I guess if they do, M$ will have more to boost about like we are superior to all other consoles because we charge dump bots to download PS1 games to our system now..

we now have a few PS1 games on our system so therefore we are superior to all other consoles.

LOL M$ is a joke

nothing but a new rich white kid in town trying to act black...

» HUH?!

"If they are the best why do they need to offer some of SONY's products to boost them up the ladder."

Maybe because MS doesn't own a music label. and they don't produce music videos.

The question I would be asking is why isn't Sony offering this on their console. Why is MS the first out of the gate with this service. Why is MS first out of the gate with the video downloads. Why is MS getting exclusive games.

I own all three consoles, so I could care less who has what.

But how do you justify slamming a console because they did something first? Are you that upset at MS? Did Bill Gates molest you or something when you were a kid?

» uh

sony's putting their product in M$'s store cuz they know it will sell. The Waitstation isn't offering this product as far as I've heard so Andreo's right here. Doubt I'll even use the service anyway.

Well it is a pretty useless service if you ask me +\

Why would any console user want this ?

» Wow

Sony needs to get their act together. Start releasing the game rights to Sony films to exclusive developers, publish Sony music and movies on the PSN exclusively. Come on! Their reach in terms of multimedia is HUGE, and their goal to make the PS3 an entertainment center won't succeed until they unify the different branches.

I honestly don't blame Sony BMG for this, with the state of incommunication between branches.

» haha, houartuto...

You are one ignorant puppy, any fool knows why MS is doing this, because Sony music owns the rights to alot of popular music/videos....

By you're reasoning Sony phails because they cannot make all their games themselves and have to seek outside developers (labels) to make games for them.....man get an education.

The real question, like someone has brought up already, is why havn't Sony provided these videos on THEIR OWN online service, especially when they own the rights and it should be no problem.....but hey, Sony has been promising a music/video download service for the PSP since it first came out....3+ years ago...

As far as "Why would anyone want this" TONS of people download and watch and keep a collection of music vids on their PC or on Youtube....so why not have them on your 360 in HD and 5.1 ?

Oh and houarto...MS doesn't have a 1 year lead in online services area...they have about 15 years more experience in online services then Sony....and if you want to keep it strictly to consoles, then they still have a 5+ year lead (remember XBL was on the original xbox as well...ah-duuuhhh)

Nice try though..
