Wow. For the Elite to be selling out on Amazon only hours after it was put up on the site is incredible, especially for a console already a year into its life. This will only solidify the Xbox 360s number one spot, gooo MS!!

The elite hardware is the SAME, nothing new, not even the 65mn chip!!! WTF! I mean, the console will still make a lot of noise ( maybe a bit less since they changed the dvd player ), and it will still heat up like it's always doing righ now... My xbox 360 passed out after a week and after I returned it, I never wanted to buy another one. And now, we can have 120g of HDD, wow, for fun! I mean, with the "heavy" number of things you can do with an xbox 360's HDD... lol. M$ is stupid, if they wanted to win the war, they just had to put windows on their consoles... Or at least something that's looking like it!! I'll buy a ps3 instead, since I dislike the games on the x360 ( I hated Gears of war, halo was more fun ).

i have a 360 and a ps3 and i barely see any difference in both consoles , i like my 360 more cause it can do way more then the ps3 so far not to mention the game line up it has plus some of the most great games too , yeah sure the ps3 will have some great games soon and i am a big sony fan ( never owned an xbox before 360 , always had ps1 , ps2 , psp, and ps3 ) but i can tell u ms is heading toward the wining road with more exclusive going multiplatform.

And in reality, you made a mistake and bought a PS3 before the Elite was launched didnt you Ahhh there there.

I like my PS3 - makes a great Bluray player, however, the only other thing to do with it is "folding". Kinda boring really =/

Ya, the 360 Elites are selling out everywhere, i dont know how it was in other places, but if it were anything like it was here (wal-mart had 2 in, target had 4, best buy 6, thats it) it wouldnt be too hard to sell out. I bought one and i have to say i enjoy it just as much as my PS3. They are both great consoles. I wish they would have at least built in WIFI in to the elite though.

So the PS3 DOES have over 160 top notch games?
