If Australian online retailer TopShop is to be believed, our friends in the land down under will be seeing the Xbox 360 Elite at the end of the month. TopShop has the Xbox 360 slated for an expected release date on August 30, with a price of AU$ 729.95. Now they'll finally get matching black Xbox 360 units for their black wireless controllers, which them Aussies got last June.
The Xbox 360 Elite package will supposedly include a 120GB hard drive, HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface) port, high-definition cable, one black wireless controller, and a black Xbox Live headset.

$730 is way to much. we get ripped off for all gaming consoles in Australia and our new release games are $120AUD ($98.95USD) and the US pay only $60USD ($69.32AUD)

i agree, consols are way to over priced, but still. Xbox 360 Elite i thing you get what you pay for in this instance. Honestly sony can go jump in a lake and take there over priced, over sized sandwich grill with them. XBOX ALL THE WAY (cos its better)
Seems expensive, especially because of the price cut on Core/Premium consoles announced earlier.
