XBLA Wednesday will (finally) dig Dig Dug out |
Ó
A few weeks ago, it was announced that Namco Bandai's Dig Dug was arriving on the XBLA. Apparently, it was still covered in deep shizznit and wasn't able to come out on time. And then a batch of XBLA releases contained some rather interesting retro games like Doom. Anyways, a lot of people have been complaining, time and time again, throughout our XBLA Wednesday posts. And some people are actually saying they're looking forward to the retro games. Here's a hodge-podge of those comments:
Ominatorx: "Another letdown from MS. It's not available."
BrokenWing Mike: "Hellz yeah, Dig-Dug is one of the old classics. Can't wait to get a hold of it. Definitely a great addition to the XBLA."
STFU: "WTF where is my dig dug,
contra, Lumines, Double Dragon and all the other games they keep
danglin off their nut sackz to keep us checkin XBLA?"
Mike: "Great news, This is one of my top favorite old classic. Can't wait to have it on my 360"
So, it's a cruel world out there. Some people are annoyed, some are hopeful; everyone's sitting on extremes about these XBLA games. fafner sums up our thoughts with a simple: "Can't we all just get along?"
Anyways, no matter what side of the fence you're on, Dig Dug is coming out on the Xbox Live Marketplace in a few hours for 400 points. It will support HDTV, have 12 Xbox Achievements, and online Leaderboards. So, whether you're feeling nostalgic or whatnot, it's your choice. The retro game will be released October 11, 1 a.m. PST, and that's that (unless of course the release gets moved once again).
