XBLA getting Roogoo, Aces of the Galaxy this week |

Teddy bears and space ships usually have nothing in common (unless you count that Care Bears in Space fanfiction that's circulating the internet). When it comes to games featuring the two concepts however, there's a lovely interlap that happens: Roogoo and Aces of the Galaxy are coming out this week, and you can find out more about both below.
In Southpeak Games' Roogoo, you play as a really cute teddy bear-like being (known as a Roogoo) who has to defeat the evil Meemoos and save his planet from destruction by aligning rotating discs to let meteors of varying shapes pass through the planet.
Artech Studios' Aces of the Galaxy, on the other hand, is your straightforward 2-D space shooter, machine guns and all. The game's also got two-player cooperative play, both online and off, so you can blast aliens with a friend, wherever your wingman might be.
Both games will debut this coming Wednesday for 800 points each.
