Fatal Fury

The Fatal Fury series, when it was released in 1991, was first viewed as a clone of the Street Fighter games. Through the years though, this SNK-developed fighting game proved to be more than that and even posed as a threat to SF's dominance. Several gimmicks like the two-plane system, ring-outs and the super combo established Fatal Fury as a legend in its own right.

In case you still do not know, the series' Fatal Fury Special will be re-released on Xbox Live Arcade sometime in 2007. This specific version of the series is actually an update of Fatal Fury 2 wherein three new characters were added in the roster and the big bosses finally became playable. Furthermore, the game is known as Garou Densetsu Special in Japan.

You can actually look at the screenshots that we posted a few weeks ago in case you want a trip down memory lane. But why be contented with just that if you can actually download the video below? It shows Fatal Fury Special's gameplay between Terry Bogard and well, Terry Bogard.
