In case you're looking for a good accompanying piece for Discs of Tron when it hits Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, here's a heads-up. SouthEnd Interactive's Commanders: Attack of the Genos has also been dated for February 13, and will by available for a cost of 800 Microsoft Points.
This title is a turn-based strategy game that will have you, the player, taking control of your own army as you defend the Earth from the genetically enhanced forces of Genos. The game will feature fifteen different missions for single-player mode, and three different multiplayer modes. Here's a rundown of its features:
- Specialized units: Fifteen different units are provided to serve alongside your Commander unit.
- Single-player campaign: Fifteen different stages across three different landscapes, with two optional difficulty settings.
- Multiplayer modes: Versus mode, Team Play mode, and Skirmish mode. Supports up to four players.
- Replayability: Two different endings.
- Retro-futuristic environment: The game features a 30s Art Deco style.
