XBL Gold membership price drop only for a limited time

Xbox Live Gold - Image 1 Better hurry if you want to get a lower annual fee rate for the Xbox Live Gold membership. True that subscription rates are lower on Xbox. com, but Microsoft says this is only "for a limited time".

According to a Microsoft rep,

We are currently running a promotion in-dash that gives Silver members a special opportunity to upgrade to the full benefits of Gold membership at a reduced price for a limited time. While there are occasional price promotions offered for our service, we're confident our 12-month Gold members realize the tremendous entertainment value provided for just over US$ 4 per month.


As it stands, the XBL Gold membership is being offered at just US$ 39.99. Some would say, however, that according to their computation, it's not much of a deal anyway. What say you?

Go ***** yourself Micro*****, I dont pay A DAMN DIME for my online and guess why? Because my game console wasnt created by a $50 billion dollar monopoly that could easily afford to support free online for everyone but chooses not to because there THAT BAD. Go choke on a Vista DVD.

The last i checked the PS3 online was not nearly as good as XBOX live. Heck you can't even talk to any of your friends on PS3 unless they are playing the same game. The 50 bucks a year you pay for XBOX live gives you a much better online experience than that of PS3.
