World in Conflict demo to be featured in Leipzig, PAX

Sierra will be releasing a public demo of World in Conflict during the Leipzig Games Convention and the Penny Arcade Expo, two of them most popular games conventions in the industry. The game will be debuting in both conventions on August 24.

 

The Games Convention in Leipzig will start on August 23 while PAX will start on August 24. The World in Conflict Demo to be showcased at both will be featuring single and multiplayer modes (up to 16 players at the same time!) The scenario that will be used in the demo will be the U.S. versus the U.S.S.R. battling it out on the "Seaside." The map will also enable Skirmish Mode where you will engage in combat against bots.

Those who have pre-ordered the game will be able to play a second multiplayer map: Ruins. The featured single-player feature will be mission 3 of the game: The Battle of Pine Valley. Clan Matches will also be featured as well.

The PC version of World in Conflict, which already went gold, will be released on September 18 in America and September 21 for Europe. The Xbox 360 version is expected to come out this Fall.
