VistaWe all knew this was going to work.

Yeah, the 360's controllers will work on upcoming OS Vista. After all, both products were created by grandaddy Microsoft Corporation. We all know, like a grain of truth in our hearts, that the two will be made compatible.

At the on-going Consumers Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Microsoft representative Justin Hutchinson ran through a live demo of Windows Live using an Xbox 360 controller. His demonstration was aided by a Google Earth-like program showing the map of Las Vegas. Hutchinson then navigated through the city's colorful skyline and along the strip using the controller.

Before this, there were actually some proof about the two's connectivity. First, it was found out that the HD DVD drive works fine with Vista while the XNA has no real issues with the said OS. Remarkably, Bill Gates' speech during the CES tackled "further connected experience."

With this kind of development and their big boss backing things up, we can only expect for better things from Microsoft. We will update you as CES continues to unfold.
