Microsoft doesn't comment on speculation and rumors, but speculation and rumors have a way of becoming true if enough people believe in it. Why not fuel those fires of suspicion just a little bit, if only to let people know that someone's thinking about this little tidbit.The little tidbit this time is about Bungie's beloved Halo 3, and if it's true, it's not going to be that little. According to the people at Game Informer Online, a reliable source has told them that a demo for Halo 3 will be coming out in the first half of 2007. Even more fun, it'll be downloadable through Xbox Live. Again, this is purely speculation at the moment, and Game Informer is filing this under "rumors," even when they have a source.
Funny thing how this works though. Game Informer is thinking it might be a ploy to mess with gamers' minds during the release of the PS3 and Wii. If you're a fan of one console or another though, this news isn't likely to destroy your resolve. Till we get confirmation though, stay tuned, and keep those guns ready.

im pretty much counting on the game being released sometime 1st half '07 so a demo doesnt seem so improbable
well i'm hoping for a sweet video or trailer, make me cry then i'll wait till like november and buy it...

NO DEMO.. PLEASE
i can say i wouldnt like a demo of 1 of the top games for the 360 few gameplay videos or screens would be fine but i want to save all the experience for when it comes out and i go crazy lol
im thinking the same as mee well at least the end...i wont be able tp get Ha;p4 on release since people will be sleeping outside for this and probally no reserve :(
i dont want a demo unless its completely unrelated to the story of halo 3 like they re-create on of the levels from halo or 2 in the halo 3 engine that would be ok but no story related things.
If they make a demo it should have an endless supply of grunts, weapons,and grenades.that would hold me till release.
