Fable - Image 1Joshua Atkins and Amy E. Gilbert sent out a notice of their upcoming marriage last weekend. Congratulations to the now-newlywed couple. But perhaps you're wondering why their wedding is of any importance to this site. That's because the notice for their wedding published on the New York Times practically confirmed the existence of Fable III.

Said the notice:

Mr. Atkins, 34, is the lead game designer for Fable III, a video game series produced by Lionhead Studios in Guilford, England. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Actually, this wouldn't be the first time we hear of a slip pertaining to the ongoing development of the third installment in the Fable franchise. BBC presenter Jonathan Ross tweeted online about his would-be voice work for Fable III. The following day, he then followed up on that tweet with a mysterious "apologize to Peter Molyneux" as part of his things to do for that day. Perhaps for letting the Fable III slip let out.

Given these, it's not exactly a surprise to find out that the game is indeed in production. The question is more of a "When" instead of "Will it".

Still no word from Microsoft or Lionhead Studios on this one, but nonetheless, congratulations to the newlyweds.

That doesn't sound like Fable 3 is in Development. It could be a typo. ( An "i" too much.) That would also explain why they appologized for it.

I'm sure Fable III will come eventually, but not this early. But given Xbox 360's lackluster lineup this year, they might need it.

» lol, I love QJ

Yeah, that could easily be a typo.....but it would explain why Fable II had a price drop so suddenly.
