Watch: Microsoft Kinect playing Nintendo on PC

Ó

It's just plain unstoppable. The Kinect has been cracked to connect to the PC, and it really is no wonder why folks would like to see its technology go beyond that of the Xbox 360's. This time, we have a video of it controlling a Nintendo game on a PC desktop.

It's Super Mario Bros. on PC, and while it's not strictly a PC game per se, it's still exciting to see a classic jump to life with technology as new as Kinect. I imagine it would be tiresome, though, hitting those blocks repeatedly to harvest the gold coins.

LOL. That's pretty dam sweet. A bit hard to control, but that truly is insane.

Certainly would bring a whole new edge to the old school games!

Suoer Mario Bros. is not a PC game. Just because it can be emulated on PC doesn't make it a PC game. Super Marios Bros. is exclusive to the Nintendo Wii.

Is any of these game technology uncrackable? I thought Microsoft filled this with superior security and now it has been cracked in less than a month. I wonder why Microsoft didn't enable it on the PC in the first place.

Microsoft said they'd pay for the first person who'd make Kinect functional on a Windows PC.

Cracked for a good reason.

This is pretty sweet but seems too hard to control.

This is pretty sweet work, but outside it all it makes me wonder why Mario's still so fat w/ this kind of workout
