Video of Xbox Laptop 360 In Action

Ó

Remember the laptop-modded 360 by Ben Heck we featured last week? Most of you guys were amazed, you guys gave Ben his deserved props, and most of all you wanted to see it in action! While the accompanying pictures did their job in showing you the mod - a picture's worth a thousand words, after all - nothing beats moving pictures.

Well, belated this moving picture may be, but for everyone's benefit we're bringing you the YouTube of the Laptop 360 in action. It's short, it's sweet, and it's playing Perfect Dark Zero (okay, all we get is the Dashboard and the game's startup publisher-logo screens, but it does show the mod running, right?). Enjoy - and forgive us for being so late.

Wow...Impressive but I really don't care he took the parts of the 360 and putted into a small laptop like case. The sad thing is that now he is limited to the screen size (maybe). I wouldn't go through all that trouble for what ?

if that was possible then why isnt the 360 small. I bet there is a heat issue in that system though. then again a regular 360 has that problem anyways

# This is not a portable xbox 360UnrealPunisher 2006-09-17 16:40
Why are you guys thinking that this is a portable 360. The guy does not mention any batteries that provide power to turn on the console. From what I can see i'm pretty sure that the guy just took the xbox 360 parts installed them into a laptop like case. The xbox 360 needs a lot of power so i'm pretty sure that the console in still plug in into a eletrical outlet.

# Wanna complain to Sony?imkro 2006-09-17 16:47
If you wanna complain to Sony about the PS3, now is your chance. The following is one possible scenario when you have a chance to interview with Ken Kutaraki (the president of Sony).

You: People say you copied Nintendo's controller.

Ken: I can't help if Nintendo rips us off.

You: Oh... It's enlightening me...

Ken: Think about all those billions of people who died away in history and have never played the PlayStation 3.

You: If you put it that way...

You: Is it true only the PS3 owners go to heaven?

Ken: The afterlife doesn't start until we say it does.

Man, this guy may have the next-gen console at his hands.

in his place i would contact microsoft design team. to produce a new breed of portable gaming consoles and a new update of 360, just like sony did to the ps2 into a slim and thinner versionof ps2.

I thought you were supposed to be "educated"? Kutaragi is not the CEO/President of Sony...

And yes, it's "Kutaragi", with a G

UMMMMMMMM>>>>>

What is this guy, HOOD RICH!?!?!?! AHAHHAAHH

Look, he spent all his money on making an XBOX 360 bigger than a briefcase and even less portable than it is now!! Maybe he should have spent his time getting laid and his money on better furniture, because of the looks of things, he lives in a TRAILER!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

Wether you like the idea of this or not you have to admit he took a lot of time and thought into designing this. And a lot of people say this is less portable, and bulkier, in reality its a couple inches longer but its thinner i believe and it has a monitor and speakers built in.

Purley awesome!

@ #2

He isn't limited to screen size because there are ports in the back that let him output to external displays
