U.S. soldiers in Iraq tries out Halo 3 beta |

Who says soldiers on duty can't have some fun? These images from Gamespot's forums show the soldiers in Iraq playing the beta of Halo 3. Well, at least it's work-related.
Companies Bungie and Microsoft apparently teamed up to set a huge gaming station especially for the soldiers in Iraq to showcase the multiplayer feature of the game. That sure is a nice treat for them working hard keeping the peace out there. And hey, these guys do deserve a break, too, after all.
Hmmm...maybe after their stint in Iraq, they could be professional beta-testers for games of the same kind, eh? It is in their line of expertise, anyway.

First post guy. You are an idiot. Thank you for trivializing what are troops do over in Iraq or wherever they fight. They are fighting and dying for the Iraqi's and us. This is a very cool thing for Bungie to have done and I salute them for it. I am not a soldier and never would join the army, but I appreciate everything they do. They are soldiers and know the risks involved in being a soldier, but they still join up and fight for us, including you. I wish they didnt have to fight for you too, but they have to fight for everyone, including the unappreciative jackoffs like yourself. They do not feel like it is an unjust war. Do not ever post frivolous B.S. about the armed forces, because nothing they do is frivolous. So go back to bed and cuddle up with your teddy bear and know that the army, navy, air force and marines have given you every freedom that you have even if you do not deserve it.

personally, i will get R6, GRAW and lost planet... i'm a shooter person, pick up and kill... +)
Hopefully the game is nowhere near final, I'm really not liking the placement of the health bar. But the health bar was changed during the development of Halo 2, so no doubt it will happen again.
cloud, definitely get Oblivion if you like action games (Oblivion is a bit too simple to be called a traditional RPG), and wait on Lost Planet to decide between it and Ghost Recon
