Two Worlds on 360 getting two expansions, new online modes |
Ó
In this day and age, you'd hear some complaints when an RPG on an online-capable machine doesn't have multiplayer features. Developer Reality Pump and publisher SouthPeak Games are apparently aware of this, as they have decided to unleash two downloadable expansions loaded with player-versus-player (PVP) and co-op modes to enhance Two Worlds' multiplayer experience on the Microsoft Xbox 360 (the game is also available on PC).
Two Worlds is an open-world RPG set on a world originally 33% bigger than Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which makes it a nice playground for online play. The new PVP mode will put players against each other as they control key areas of a multiplayer map, while co-op mode is going to offer missions designed for more than one person.
SouthPeak did not specify how many players can join up, so we are not certain how epic PVP and co-op will be. We can at least count on getting the first expansion for Two Worlds as soon as March from Xbox Live for 600 MS Points, followed by the second coming this April at the same price. New weapons, missions, and places to explore are said to be waiting. You can take a glimpse at the upcoming DLC with the released screenshots above.

One of the worst games of 07 is getting expansion packs. Now the 30 people in the world that kept this piece of crap game now have a reason to endure some more god awful dialogue
