Codemasters and Spark Unlimited have released the demo of their upcoming FPS game Turning Point: Fall of Liberty on Xbox Live. A few days ago they also released the Xbox 360 achievements for the game.

In the demo you will be stepping into the shoes of Dan Carson, a construction engineer in New York City. To give you a brief overview of the game, the story happens during World War II in an alternate reality where Winston Churchill died.

Because of his death, World War II took a different direction in favor of the Nazis, who launched an attack against America. The story starts with Carson, who is at work high on the girders of a skyscraper.

When the Nazis attack with their zeppelins, aircraft and assault blimps, the skyscraper Carson is working on takes some hits and starts to collapse. He will have to escape the building, searching for ladders and leaping from girder to girder.

Paratroopers will land on the building and Carson has to fight for his life as World War II enters American shores. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty will also be released on the PlayStation 3 and the PC.
