The recent apparent lack of news about Blue Dragon had caused minor discomfort to Japanese anticipating fans. Luckily for them, the main man of Microsoft in Japan, Takashi Sensui, confirmed that it is very much on track and still set for release this year. One week after that, Japanese comic magazine Jump agrees so as it displays two more new scans.

This X360 RPG is being developed  by Mistwalker, the company started by
Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. Also character design is being handled and supervised by the person who did Drangonball, Akira Toriyama. Many believe that Blue Dragon, together with other original Japanese games, will spell the difference between success and failure for Microsoft in Japan.

Hopefully, we get to hear more news and see scans with better quality from Blue Dragon, especially now that the Tokyo Game Show is just two weeks away.

I hope it's more like FF than DragonQuest. Never did fancy the DQ games except 8 (even that one not much).

Looking good so far though. I think they over did it with the very Japanese Dragon Ball Zish graphics for my own personal taste bu since you have Akira Toriyama designing I guess that's a giving.

Hope MS doesn't decide to release this game against Final Fantasy 13 though =\ it would get crushed in sales.
